According to each location, Flying Academy provides assistance in finding accommodation for students. Students can request their personal flight training consultants for further details on accommodation services. Our bases are strategically located globally to provide students with the best opportunities to pursue their pilot training! We have 4 bases in Europe (2 in the Czech Republic, 1 in Portugal).

Prague - Czech Republic

Prague has always been one of the main political, economical, and cultural centers of Europe. Founded during the Romanesque era and flourishing by the Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque eras.

The city boasts more than ten major museums, along with numerous theatres, galleries, cinemas, and other historical exhibits. An extensive modern public transportation system connects the city and is considered one of the best in Europe. Prague ranked sixth in the TripAdvisor world list of best destinations in 2016. Prague’s low cost of living makes it a popular destination for students and expats relocating to Europe.

Brno - Czech Republic

According to the NY Times, Brno is among the top places to go for great cuisine and culture. Brno is the second largest Czech city, located in the South Moravian region. The city is famous for the medieval Spilberk Castle which dominates the city skyline, Villa Tugendhat, the icon of modernism, and the nearby natural sight Moravian Karst.

The living-costs in Brno are relatively low. It’s hard to tell the exact numbers, but cost of accommodation and food (especially eating and drinking in cafes and restaurants) are definitely lower than in most countries. Brno is also a very popular student city. According to QS (the company behind university rankings), Brno is the 6th most popular student city worldwide.
